As you will Martin. A man can never have enough true freinds. I wanted to point out the old word Churl. I think the word applies to George Soros. a rude ill-bred person b: a stingy morose person. Soros supports media matters (attack personality machine) and the ACLU (attack justice machine). As to beating Cal to a punch line....well I think your just feeding the Eagle.

Nose? That's the nice version of the quote - the original centered on a different oriface.

Thought you'd find this interesting...
Another reason that we (the United States) cannot simply replace gasoline with ethanol, is that the efficiencies of production do not allow a sufficient yield on corn-based ethanol, to do so.
Specifically:
Using current production methods, 1 acre of corn will produce 50 gallons of ethanol, annually.
Current Annual US Gasoline Consumption - 134,000,000,000 Gallons (and rising)
1 square mile = 640 acres.
Number of acres required to replace gasoline w/ethanol = 2.68 billion ...divided by 640 gives the number of square miles required (all growing corn) = 4,187,500
Total US Land area (census, year 2000) 3,537,438 Square Miles
So if every square inch of the United States grew corn, we'd still be roughly 25 billion gallons short of current demand.
...that was my math homework for the night.
;D
