A couple of days back, Father called me to attendance and gave me some info relating to my departure. Father never demands, or commands, he 'asks'. It was his purpose to seek my permission.
My response was, 'do with me as you will'.
He then asked if I'd like a confirmation. I replied, it wouldn't hurt.
15 minutes later, I noticed a white feather had appeared on my bed.
I've got a nice collection of these things at this point.

Thanks guys but the tuft feathers wouldn't make a suitable headdress. Now if I was getting wing feathers, that would be a different story.

If you weren't so self absorbed you would have an inkling of my writing style and mood.
That play on words was intended, and reflected the proud emotions I was FEELING.
Of course some of us just go through the motions.
