At his coronation ball, the people were raising their arms saying Obama Obama.

How short a time ago when adoring crowds did the same thing for Adolf.

This post has nothing to do with HQ subjects so don't read more into it. This what I think Obama's plan is.

1. He needs his private Gestapo with boots on the ground. This is critical to his aspirations.
2. Congress will be an irritation to Lord Obama. He'll have a plan for getting rid of them. (Think burning of the Reichstadt). Only this round, he'll blame jews and 'some' whites. He has broader plans with regards to whites.
3. He'll need a 9-11 event bigger and worse.

Did you know that Amercian artillary can put a shell up a fly's backside at 30 miles? Imagine that fire power being unleashed on Congress when most of them are in session and from well outside their defensive perimeters. (Burning of the Reichstadt)

Where would Obama get such weaponry? Easy. He now has thousands of willing cohorts in the miltary. As with Akira they aren't Americans, they are Black Americans and their loyalities go first to skin.

Having done the deed, he now has no opposition, declares martial law and unleashes the Gestapo on those who'd take up arms against him.

Once he's decimated the white population to the point he considers acceptable, he moves in arabs and La Rasa hispanics.

The press will tell you that the nation is arming up out of fear Obama will take their guns. There is no fear in the equation at all, just committment to our Constitutional values and the willingness to fight for them.

I believe the Commies made a critical timing error. They moved too soon. My generation wasn't the product of marxist indoctrination nor was anyone born before 1957. It is a common error made by young men to think that gray equates to weak.
They discover their mistake when 'the old guy' kicks their ass.
Had they waited until this generation had passed, the commie educated minds of mush wouldn't be in any position to put up a fight.

Transparency in Government has begun. I can see right through this guy.

Obama says, in regard to times of gathering storm and crisis...

"At these moments America has carried on not simply because of the skill or vision of those in high office, but because we the people have remained faithful to the ideals of our forebears, and true to our founding documents."

Yet later in the speech,

"hard work and honesty, courage and fair play, tolerance and curiosity, loyalty and patriotism — these things are old. These things are true. They have been the quiet force of progress throughout our history. What is demanded then is a return to these truths. "

So after praising in the affirmative, he quickly decides we have lost these idealistic truths and must return to them.

Futhermore...

"What is required of us now is a new era of responsibility — a recognition, on the part of every American, that we have duties to ourselves, our nation, and the world."

Gee, I don't remember our forbearers mentioning the idealistic truth about our duty to the WORLD.

And I suppose our remaining faithful to ideals has also led to

"our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age."

Sorry Bo, I graduated Junior High School.

But little details like this won't stop him from enlisting us to...

"begin again the work of remaking America" (IN HIS IMAGE).

Then he speaks of OUR journey as Americans and the greatness of our nation.

"In reaffirming the greatness of our nation, we understand that greatness is never a given. It must be earned. Our journey has never been one of shortcuts or settling for less. It has not been the path for the faint-hearted.. for those who prefer leisure over work, or seek only the pleasures of riches and fame (LIKE MOST WHO VOTED FOR ME)... (So those whipped and forced to work in sweatshop conditions did not settle for less? Those instances represent the greatness of this nation?) Riiight.

So how will WE change our nation in to the WORLD savior?

"To the people of poor nations, we pledge to work alongside you to make your farms flourish and let clean waters flow; to nourish starved bodies and feed hungry minds. And to those nations like ours that enjoy relative plenty, we say we can no longer afford indifference to the suffering outside our borders; nor can we consume the world's resources without regard to effect. For the world has changed, and we must change with it. "

(No mention of putting our own house in order, helping the poor, rejuvenating farms, cleaning water and nourishing those INSIDE OUR BORDERS FIRST.) (Sounds like changing with the world will be to become more destitute like them first. Great idea.)

"We will restore science to its rightful place."

(When did it fall from its rightful place?)

"We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories."

"All this we will do."

Obama is a psychiatric cliche'. Most politicians try to speak 2 or 3 levels beneath the words so they can claim positions on either side. Obama does it one level beneath and if you have an IQ greater than 80 you can see where he's going.

He's putting us on notice - its gonna hit the fan and his hand is on the switch.

Actually, Just as frightening was the racist rant (er.. benediction prayer) that began with a quote from the BLACK NATIONAL ANTHEM (never knew there was one) and ended with a wistful musing of (paraphrased) "When Oh when would whitey embrace what is Righty.)

Or did he mean when will White embrace my pal Rev. Wright?

Anyhow, we were given a foreboding foreshadowing of what this country will look like when the switch is thrown, in a photo of what the throngs of true believers left the Washington Mall looking like after they went off to party like its 2099.

In the end, the history eclipsed everything.

Had yesterday's ceremony been merely an inauguration in a time of national crisis, one in which the president signaled fundamental departures in the nation's conduct of domestic and foreign affairs, those departures would have been the big news. They are big news; they are huge. But they were not the main story. Not today.

For the line in Barack Obama's inaugural address that rocked the nation back on its heels, the line that brought the shock of recognition to the moment, was the president's assertion that by America's living up to our founding creed, "a man whose father less than 60 years ago might not have been served at a local restaurant can now stand before you to take a most sacred oath."

That was the history, and everybody knew it. That is what brought the tears.

The speech itself had something of a "last shall be first" air. More than any inaugural address I can think of, it encapsulated the story of America's working class. Obama celebrated "men and women obscure in their labor" who "toiled in sweatshops and settled the West, endured the lash of the whip and plowed the hard earth."

Such invocations served several distinct but overlapping purposes. They were, first, part of a broader tableau of inclusivity that Obama painted, a nation whose religious census includes "Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus and nonbelievers."

Second, they were an affirmation of the value of work, which, in turn, provided the moral basis for the redistributive economics that was one of the two fundamental departures from past policies that Obama championed in his speech. "The market can spin out of control," he told us, referring not merely to the current meltdown but also to the ways in which an uncontrolled market can and has damaged the great middle class. "The nation cannot prosper long when it favors only the prosperous," he said. "The success of our economy has always depended not just on the size of our gross domestic product but on the reach of our prosperity; on the ability to extend opportunity to every willing heart -- not out of charity but because it is the surest route to our common good."

We measure the merit of government, he added, not by how wide a berth it gives the market but by "whether it helps families find jobs at a decent wage, care they can afford, a retirement that is dignified."

With those words, the age of Reagan was ceremoniously but unambiguously interred. For 30 years, the widely shared prosperity created and then enjoyed by the Greatest Generation has been eroding. Obama's speech was the first presidential inaugural to address the narrowing of American prosperity and to announce the intention to broaden it again.

The age of Bush was also ended, more abruptly, in the very first sentence that concerned foreign and defense policy. "As for our common defense," Obama said, "we reject as false the choice between our safety and our ideals." Moments later, he added, "Power alone cannot protect us, nor does it entitle us to do as we please."

With that, the neoconservative perversion of American ideals -- and American security -- was flushed to its reward, and a new doctrine, at once more idealistic and realistic than neoconservatism ever was, was articulated by our articulate new president.

Yet for all that the nation is in crisis, and for all that these two reversals of course are of great immediate and historic significance, they are not what brought the tears, the intake of breath, the headshaking disbelief at what was unfolding on the steps of the Capitol.

America's defining challenge has always been to take seriously the assertion of human equality in our founding document, though many of our Founders were themselves unable to broaden their definition of humanity to include the people whose unpaid work was the basis of their own well-being. The battle to conform American realities to American ideals has been the central narrative of American history. Yesterday, everyone recognized that the story was advancing by chapters, or maybe volumes, before our eyes.

Obama used the moment to affirm his belief that "the old hatreds shall someday pass; that the lines of tribe shall soon dissolve; that as the world grows smaller, our common humanity shall reveal itself."

Good words, but what made yesterday so astounding was that the words, by the decision of the American people in voting booths assembled, were made flesh.

Truly.

"If you find yourself in a fair fight, you must have chosen the wrong strategy or used the wrong tactics."

And sadly, our generation and our parent's generation are dwindling ever more rapidly. I hope there are enough who've taught our children well so the fight never becomes fair between a tyrannical government and the populace.

But I see the American Idol-atry going on towards BO, and I worry. The strategy and tactics of the Nazis clearly worked, until they were stopped. By us. So the question is "who is like us"?

Clearly, only "us" are like us. A unique nation, the "Great Experiment". Do enough of our young adults know this and understand in order to resist?

Or is the saving grace that they are moving too soon as Cal opines?

According to the TV media, the closure of Guantanimo was one of his pre-election promises and the funny thing is the particular news station I was watching was really slating him for not giving the order to close even though only hours had passed. I can’t remember the exact words but they inferred Obama to be weak in relation to Bush.

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama warned on Thursday that failure to act on an economic recovery package could plunge the nation into a long-lasting recession that might prove irreversible, a fresh call to a recalcitrant Congress to move quickly.

In an op-ed in The Washington Post, the president argued that each day without his stimulus package, now exceeding $900 billion in the Senate, Americans lose more jobs, savings and homes. He painted a bleak picture if lawmakers do nothing.

"This recession might linger for years. Our economy will lose 5 million more jobs. Unemployment will approach double digits. Our nation will sink deeper into a crisis that, at some point, we may not be able to reverse," Obama wrote in the op-ed titled, "The Action Americans Need."
