This thread is for you.
Den asked a good question.
How is Cal hurting anyone?

I 've already give Denken an answer, I can't speak for anyone, as for me, you were denying me the right of replica by erasing my posts. Not that it hurts or can't live with it but that's far away from justice, and you are a just man, don't you?

Posting on a forum is hardly a right - merely a privilege of speaking with others for it is moderated by and set up by for someone for a community to speak to each other. Cal has been more than generous with you. He could have just banned you straight up. And that is all within his "rights" as moderator. So here is a question for you - are YOU a just man? The good majority of your posts have been nothing but drivel. If you wish to say Cal is a raving lunatic, that's fine. But since you do, please, enlighten us with your proof -- undeniable proof that you are right and we are all duped. EDIT: At many other forums that I have posted, there hass always been one rule that persisted - don't feed the trolls. People responding to what you have to say is feeding and inciting you to say further things. The idea behind that is to shun the troll, no speak to or even refer to it. The troll would fade away into non-existence and would eventually not come back. Consider yourself a privileged individual to have Cal would go so far as to give you your own thread.

Jere
You have the right to behave like a jerk. I have the right not have to listen to it. As this is my forum - my rights trump yours and your ideas of 'justice' are self serving and give no concern for anyone else but you.
So what do you want and why are you here

So what do you want and why are you here
1.-I want to be able to post when I feel like posting. 2.-I'm here with no agenda in particular if that's what worries you, I'm just to read and participate every now and then

You always could 'read'.
Jere you have a long history (years) of having not particularly glorious things to say about me and on more than one forum.
So what's changed other than YOU WANT.
What do YOU EXPECT to get from this forum when you so vehimently reject its originating premise.
You've dodged questions twice now. How many does it take to get a straight answer

Cal, seriously you're taking me for someone else, I don't have a long story nor years saying unglorious things about you in this or any other forum. I agree that 2-3 months ago I posted on PH and my posts weren't exactly nice, but at that time I was just trying to rebate who you think you are and I was centered on prove you wrong. Not that I believe now that you really are who you think, but now I think there are other things more important on this forum than your identity, like it's been said before most important is the message not the messenger, so any now and then when I read an interesting post I would like to be able to participate, in a polite way, no attacks, no offenses, sometimes I'll agree, maybe othertimes I won't, sot let's better end this kinda confrontation behaviour that you still have against me
What do YOU EXPECT to get from this forum when you so vehimently reject its originating premise.
You've dodged questions twice now. How many does it take to get a straight answer I expect to get knowledge, wisdom, information, stories, even jokes or animal tales, many of the posts here could be useful, so there's a lot of stuff I could expect to get. and I haven't dodged your questions, I've tried to answer them as simple and straight as possible, but maybe it's not what you want to hear.
p.s. let's end this thread as this is going nowhere and it may be boring for the rest of the participants just to read us, let's better focus on the other threads around

Perhaps you shouldn't presume to speak for others.

There is an old saying: Let sleeping dogs lie.
I've known Bob for a long time now, and I speak from experience, not just participating (and arguing) in his forum, but my own life in general that if you keep fighting people (over and over and over again), it isn't gonna end, and if it does, odds are, no one is going to end up happy, no one's gonna win any prizes (championship boxers aside).
Complaining about how he feels about you or what he thinks probably isn't going to change a thing. He might be able to change you, however, if you let him, that's up to you. If you keep being defensive, be prepared to keep defending. I suppose, you could try to turn the tables with Bob, get him on the defense, but odds are, it'll be like "rubber and glue."
Don't defend honor or try to correct people for the purpose of self-gratification, do it only if it's necessary; in your case, it probably isn't; in Bob's, well, he's been running this site for a long time and he has a long-standing reputation to maintain (if he wants to). I'd say he's got a lot more ammunition so learn how he fires his guns first and some added cred wouldn't hurt either.
If you're looking to "change hearts and minds," might as well speak to an under 30 crowd. My dad says most people don't change after 30 (my dad's 73, grew up on the streets, was abused like fucking hell as kid, was worth almost 100 million dollars with a 10th grade education by his late 50s, had 3 divorces, lost all his money, and now lives in a trailer park with old folks...he's lived a bit), and I think he's right, for the most part. But what he said is of course easier said than done: if debating is what ya think makes ya happy, by all means, variety is the spice of life...
Real simple: I'd rather spend my time doing something meaningful (in my case, taking care of real world shit, which I'm obviously not doing right now =) ) than defend myself against this man. Time better spent.
