David John Oates has an interesting website on reverse speech, which are things that are found when speech is played backward in a certain manner. This is considered to be the soul talking. They found some very interesting (and also puzzling) reversals on McCain and Obama. www.reversespeech.com/election08.htm

I happened to re-read Bob's posting on Reverse Speech today. My thoughts are:
If I were God, I would not be afraid of the truth (I am the truth, the actual source of truth, I create the truth, I observe the truth). Because "I" want to be like God, therefore, I should never be afraid to speak the truth. People lie, I think because they are fearful of the truth and the responsibility they must take for living it, or because they are willing to compromise themselves for gain, even to the extent that they would convince themselves their bullshit is in fact true or good. I do not think God has a reason to fear and so we shouldn't either (within reason - you don't run in front of a bus unless you want to die).
I'm going to investigate the findings of David Oates further. It would be interesting to see that in the reality God created for us and we have created together, that in it, one of the set "laws" or constructs of knowledge would be a means of unquestionably deciphering a lie.
Bob, have you used reverse speech as a tool for your job as a private investigator?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

How about a tape on Secretary Henry M. Paulson?
I would not be surprised to hear how he just screwed god.
No disrespect to god. I am just saying Paulson seems like an ass hat to me.

Joe
My ex wife was a paranoid schizophrenic. Read this as 'never a dull moment around my house'. Naturally, when I'd had more than my fill, I sought a divorce knowing it would also be the divorce from hell.
To experiment with Oates' theory, I bought a taped transcript from the last court action. I wanted to know what the judge really thought.
I fed it into a computer, reversed it, and listened for intelligble speech. At a point where she is speaking to my attorney, she says (in reverse), this is not our nightmare.
I told the lawyer that, at the next hearing, I wanted him to use the word 'nightmare' three times in the course of his conversations with the judge. He did as I asked of him and I walked out of the courtroom with custody of my kid. With her next misbehavior, I was granted license to take him and move to Colorado.
For those who haven't gone thru this - men don't get their kids.
While people have free will and frequently use it to lie - the soul is incapable of telling a lie and subtly imbeds the truth. This also surfaces in body language.

1-4-08 BUSH SPEECH REVERSALS AND THE HENRY PAULSON CONTROVERSY Posted By: Guarded_Optimist <Send E-Mail> Date: Monday, 21 January 2008, 12:19 a.m. I was able to record the Fox News video that was aired on January 4, 2008 during that interesting White House meeting with President Bush, Henry Paulson, Ben Bernanke, et. al. It was joined in progress, ran for about two or three minutes, then they broke away. I made speech reversals of Bush's remarks, who was the only one who spoke. I always like to say that reverse speech is an audio version of "Where's Waldo." When you first try looking for Waldo, he's difficult to make out. But the more you look, the more you see. In this case, the more you listen, the more you hear. In dealing with speech reversals, one looks for congruency between the forward speech and the reversal. If the forward speech is congruent with the reversal, the forward speech is deemed truthful. Whenever the reversal is incongruent with the forward speech, the reversal is deemed more truthful. Keep in mind that speech reversals often appear in the form of metaphors, which sometimes need deciphering. Figurative references are common. The key is to gather all the reversals together and see what the gestalt amounts to. Bush's forward speech of January 4th reflects hopeful statements about the economy despite recent problems. By contrast, his reversals contradict the hopeful assertions, mixing in a few ominous military references, along with an earthquake mention. There are two mentions of "mutiny army," as though referring to a split within the military. There have been allegations that Special Forces have been involved with some recent high level feuding. The second mention is, "woah, mutiny Army NASA." One reversed phrase sounds like, "yeah Hoover enjoy the fun." Maybe a reference to Herbert Hoover of the previous Great Depression? If so, these reversals unfortunately go against Bush's forward speech big time. And a few references surprisingly seem to confirm Christopher Story's version of the controversy surrounding Henry Paulson. Below are the mp3 audio files of Bush Jr.'s speech reversals of 1-4-08. www.rumormillnews.com/cgi-bin/archive.cgi?noframes;read=117368oxy search link: 6th web page. www.oxysearch.com/search.aspx?q=BUSH%20SPEECH%20REVERSALS%20AND%20THE%20HENRY%20PAULSON%20CONTROVERSY&st=web

Heh, looks like you got your pick of the litter. If you don't mind me asking, how did you end up with someone like that?
