Daniel 1:5
And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

Jason com: well this seems clear, except what does the wine drinking represent?
Matthew 9:17

Jason com: ah, there it is: drinking wine is likened unto being filled with the (Holy) Spirit. Aka: Jesus. Viewing this as such, all those previous versus, including those in Daniel and Revelation make a little more sense to me.
