Hi All, if you haven't seen it yet. I'm posting the link to an impresive video about an extra-solar planet named Nibiru that will cross in between the Sun and the Earth at the end of 2013/ beginning of 2014, causing catastrophic earthquackes and tsunamis until June 2014. NASA and national governments are aware of the problem at keep it secret. They have calculated 2/3 of humanity will die and 2/3 of the people that survive will also die from diseases and starvation during the first 6 months after.

If you are interesting in the Nibiru phenomena you might want to look into Zecharia Sitchin's earth chronicle series of books. He comes to some (in my opinion) unfounded conclusions, but his treatment of the sumerian cosmology in relation to Nibiru and the "Annunaki" who inhabit it, is interesting nonetheless.

Makes me wonder who then could build structures like stonehenge and others more massive in Andes near lake Titicaca (including blocks weighing hundreds of tons) and the great pyramid of giza which is made of 2.5 million blocks (a few tons each) and the tip of which is mislocated by less than an inch from the geometrical center of the base?

I did notice in some of the material/questions/answers that a great deal of running around the bush was being done, with minimal understanding of what the answers meant to the questions. But thought that it made for more and better confusion for those that read all this stuff from the channelers and conspiracy buffs.

It is my opinion (after much study) that Stonehenge was constructed by the Nordics as a type of compass. While seated at the center, one could use the date and time to compute the azimuth to the exact center of the universe, thereby allowing one to "face Father" when giving thanks or offering prayer.

Modern humanity has an unfortunate tendency to grossly underestimate the capabilities of its ancestors. The mystery behind the construction of the Great Pyramids says more about our ability to decipher the past than the facility of ancient egyptians.

Purpose? To preserve it because it would have a future purpose for the once and future king.
