These are the sequence of events
Carter Administration (1970's). Community Redevelopment Act mandates that banks must give loans to people based on race and NOT on their ability to repay those loans. Gov insures the loans so the banks don't run a financial risk. These loans are run thru Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Clinton Administration (1990's). Expands the Community Redevelopment Act.
Lord Obama, sends Acorn to banks to intimidate them into giving unwise loans and takes one to court. He is successful in getting the court to order the bank into making unwise loans.
Eventually, some genius creates a security wherein the value of these loans can be traded, bought and sold on Wall Street. These securities are supposedly secured by the real estate on which the loan was made.
Because of cheap money and easy loans, the real estate market inflates and the properties have sufficent value to cover the loans (on paper). The securities created from these loans IN FACT have nothing securing them.
Eventually, the inflationary bubble bursts. People like Queen Barney are telling everyone Fannie Mae is in fine shape - nothing to worry about. As usual, he lied.
Notes come due - no one is paying on the loans, the property was over valued and no one wants to buy the foreclosures, the securities crash and those companies holding the paper crash with it.
The people, via the government, are left holding the bag as the insuring agent. Now all of a sudden, we HAVE TO DO SOMETHING to solve the crisis. Their solution? Spend more money you don't have to move the doomsday date from now to later.
Business isn't buying this - Stock Market nose dives - Businesses stop spending money to invest in anything as they know a depression is inevitable. People losing jobs by the bushel full. Businesses going out of business. Real Estate and most everything else circles the drain. Unemployment rises with more to come. Depression unavoidable at this point. Obama continues to sing empty platitudes. As the Treasury cranks up the printing presses to pay for the Democrats pay off to constituents for voting for them - the value of the dollar decreases. This theft affects every person on the planet holding a dollar. The Chinese are livid as they hold a lot of US Bond debt. The Russians aren't pleased either for the same reason.
This entire timeline began with democrats buying votes from blacks with someone else's money. Noteworthy is that few of these people have ever run a business or made a payroll. To say they are incompetent is an understatement and this empowerment does not spawn from the Constitution but from their disobedience to it.
Solutions
1. Endure generations of slavery to the government's debt.
2. Second Amendment
3. Secession

The whiney Democrats who voted for Carter, Clinton and now Obama want a savior. That is not possible.
Economics does not value ideology. Economics places a value on trust. That trust is broken when an individual defaults. Now lord Obama is quick to blame wall street. So if there are any annalists out there that could pin point what firm first started trading in these securities. I would bet they had close ties to government., I.E. former Congress person maybe a Senator, Presidential staffer, or even upon the advice of a President. As a venue to pass the buck.
I am thinking if wall street was connected to the hip with the Feds. Then that's conspiracy.
Quote: " Eventually, some genius creates a security wherein the value of these loans can be traded, bought and sold on Wall Street. These securities are supposedly secured by the real estate on which the loan was made".
Quote: "Because of cheap money and easy loans, the real estate market inflates and the properties have sufficent value to cover the loans (on paper). The securities created from these loans IN FACT have nothing securing them".
"In their rage they seek to rape the working man and woman. Those who don't see the value in secession are doomed to slavery. Those that see secession as viable will see that life is not the same. Many sacrifices will be endured".

Cal, nice economic summary. Bang on.
Help me with the secession idea to follow it through. Suppose 20 states do secede from the union. Someone still has to pay the piper. The market problems continue, but secession breaks the authority of the federal government to make the problems even worse with the bail-outs to nowhere. Printing money to get out of debt is suicidal for any country, lead to hyper inflation, devalues the currency and eventually leads to the overthrow of government power through civil unrest - if we have learned anything from history. So, the idea behind secession is to topple federal power, but still retain state government so anarchy does not rush in to fill the void.
Then, states have to understand the next steps, which are enormous tax cuts to 'really' stimulate the economy. Taxes are the strangle hold on anything economic - they are a burden. Tax those who actually produce something, and they produce less, have less capital to expand their businesses, less money to create new jobs, etc. Then, States have to deal with the offending bad debt out there, by putting the real culprits in jail and letting the market deal with the economics. Some companies will fall, and will be bought up by others and rebuilt. Just because they fall, it does not make them worthless. If companies like GM fall, then they can be free from the organized labor strangle holds, and can start over by hiring non-union. Work for your pay, and get rewarded for your productivity. Or even if the unions can't be smashed, allow unions to compete. Allow more than one labor union and allow then to complete with each other to provide the labor for the most productivity.
Anyway, from where I sit the only point to secession is to break the feds and stop the bleeding. I heard a great analogy the other week. What the feds are currently doing with the proposed 'stimulus' is like a bunch of people in a ship that is sinking deciding the best way to save the ship is drill a hole in the bottom to let the water out.

What you and most other's are missing is the bare truth of the situation. Left or right, they know what economics work and those that don't. THEY DON'T CARE!!! As long as they get to be king on the mountain everyone else can go to hell.
There is only one scenario that keeps the country whole and tends to the economic mess. That's 'every eye will see him.'
Here is my plan.
1. Put the country back on the gold standard. 2. I supply the gold silver and platinum to support the currency. Cydonia is a mining and production facility that has been functioning for 200,000 years. In digging to get things we needed, we also acquired a lot of metal we didn't have an immediate need for. Regardless, we refined it and stored it for this moment in time. 3. You set the price of gold at 1000 per ounce and issue gold certificates backed by the gold. A gold certificate is worth 1000 dollars of the current currency. You run both concurrent at the same time. 4. Now the national debt and the cumulative miscreance is covered and balanced. 5. I do the same for the UK and some other selected countries. 6. Kill the income tax and replace it with a 10% sales tax. 7. Reinstatement of the usery laws. No interest rates over 10%. 8. Everyone in the country is now a tax payer. 9. Reinstatement of the original constitution. Of particular note is the provision that only landowners can vote. The parasites that have brought us to the point of no say in affairs. When they go to work and earn the money to buy land - then they can vote. 10. Removal of depts of government not allowed under the Constitution.
Note: If the states which to retain FEMA, then can make a corporation, fund it and empower it amongst themselves. This is not a valid federal function.
Federal welfare - history. If the states want to do these things, they can. Feds have no business in the business of education. This will reduce the tax burden on the people and inspire enormous prosperity.
To enable these things, all federal officials who took an oath to the constitution and then violated that oath will be incarcerated for blasphemy against God and perjury against man. You lose most of congress - Pres and Vp and a good portion of the federal judiciary and all of the Supreme Court. Martial law declared prepatory to these changes. Once the nation is back on solid footing (3 to 6 months) I'll turn my attention to the rest of the Americas. Bringing these under one administrative roof will change the balance of power on the planet in our favor.
The Arabs won't be terribly happy with us. Those dollars they hold are now worth 1/1000th of what they were worth before the gold certificates. file this under (screw em). Those who are our enemies will find business has taken a turn for the worse. On the other hand, our allies will find a safe umbrella and I will stand with them also.
US will be energy independant at rapture plus one day. The arabs will be riding their camels.
I will raise an army of 200 million from the Americas, trained and directed by the US Military. (post rapture). This puts us into a position to deal with any power on the planet - even the Chinese.
The government will be moved from DC to New Jerusalem.
These things are also prepatory to the emergence of the anti-christ in rome. Patton and Hitler are going toe to toe one last time. Contrary to popular interpretation, the anti-christ's influence isn't global.
I have a rather long 'honey do' list here but these are the highlights.
Now - were this not to come about.
Secession will schism the country into two sides. Screaming parasites versus those who work for their daily bread. The country and the rest of the planet will suffer enormously from the instability. I don't see that the commies can win this but then, THEY DON'T CARE about the nation - only what they can take from it.
Once you accept the fact that THEY DON'T CARE, there is no cure they can affect. Victory becomes the only viable solution.

Shouldn't matter to you if you're leaving with rapture. If all this goes on before then, I'll be fine with it since the place will be in good hands regardless.

Cal, I am glad that we get to the point - there is no viable solution other than an INTERVENTION.
Slavery is not an option for free individuals. This means 2nd amendment and civil war. There are enough real americans out there still. It is a power play like you say - be in power at all costs - regardless of the damage to the country. This is true for all tyrants.
Secession is a first step to topple the tyrants, yet still have some government in place. Divide and conquer the feds. But secession still rifts the country into two sides - union and nonunion states. This also leads to civil war, you say.
So, the US is too far down the tubes to save without bloodshed and severe destabilization with far and wide ranging effects. This is very grim. Your worst assessment of the situation to date. Not a lot of tumblers left to fall into place - hence the two minute warning.
Now we watch for the flashpoint that you have referred to. The event that puts us over the edge, and we watch as the country turns into LA during the riots a few years back.
Gods speed my friend. And also to the rest of the advens. We watch and wait.

Moving out from the cities is not a bad idea, while it is still possible. House with a wood stove for heating and cooking, area surrounded with woods, and close to a clean water source. Bicycle and good cross country skies might come handy. Hunting rifles, fishing gear and various different weapons and various tools (good axe and a saw is a must) are also on the list.

Let me add - on the issue of bloodshed, this will come down to Obama. The man lacks character and a brain. He patterns himself after others. Unofficially, Hitler has been demonstrated and can be assumed. Lincoln is the official version. Both have points of commonality.
Both declared martial law, both killed anything resembling free speech, both used force against anyone who stood in their way.
As Obama has never had an original thought of his own, combined with the fact he's a white hating racist who accepts the proposition God intended blacks to rule the world, he won't hesitate to pull out the army against the states and the civilian population.
The issue here is how quick it comes down. If sooner, he won't have the time to create his Gestapo and would have to rely upon the existing military. If later, he'll have the time and the 'stimulus bill' gives him all the money he needs to do it.
If it comes to secession, I expect that OK will be the first to go. If the feds draw first blood, I'll be there within 24 hours, armed up and with 6 months of supplies.
There are 2 types of states in this. Those that are truly for the Constitution and those using the threat of secession to shake down the feds for money. I suspect Michigan is of the later mindset. Their socialism has driven them to the point of bankruptcy. Ditto for California. With these liberty isn't the issue but more welfare.
Oklahoma has a high degree of Indian populations. At the time of the creation of the Oklahoma Indian Territories, various tribes were gathered up in a forced relocation and many died. Let's put it this way, there's no lost love here.
If you look at a pic of Charles Key, the author of the OK Resolution, he has definite Indian blood. Odd isn't it that a native american would lead the charge in support of the Constitution? Even more so that a Russian immigrant (Orly) would be at point in the courts on the Obama actions. These people know what SHOULDN'T be done having already lived under the tyranny. Also, OK is the only 100% conservative state in the union.
