UB describes the first two "true" humans, Andon and Fonta, were born of an ape-like bipedal homonoid with an underdeveloped brain. This would explain the evolutionary gap.

"UB describes the first two "true" humans, Andon and Fonta, were born of an ape-like bipedal homonoid with an underdeveloped brain. This would explain the evolutionary gap."
The UB is as credible a source as the Bible - in other words - not very credible at all.
The description sounds accurate though - ape-like bipedal with underdeveloped brain. I think everyone would lay the question to rest if fossil evidence was found of this. Wait, isn't there??

There is no evidence that man evolved from the ape and the 100+ year search for the missing link has never been found. (nor will it ever be). Did man evolve from something? Is there any truth to the Urantia Book claim that we originally evolved from some type of lemur? I'd also be interested to know of UB's information on the original human races is accurate. They claim the first race was the Andonites, followed by the six sangik races (which they claim all came from one family, which, they also claim, is unheard of since the normal evolutionary pattern is for these six races to gradually appear over time), followed by the Nodites. So their description entails 8 total human races, not including previous creatures they evolved from. Mortal, you can't prove who wrote the UB - it follows the rest of it is suspect. Mankind was seeded upon this planet AND evolutionary forces came into play as well. The first race was black. From them, a total of six races were created + the nephalim. Lemur - I could have used my prehensal tail as a marital aid. Guess I got screwed on that one

Evolution is like a 1,000,000,000 piece puzzle. We've got a lot of parts filled out. The human section isn't immediately linked to any other part of the puzzle... but the parts we do have still make a lot of sense. It's not like the human part looks like it belongs to a completely different puzzle (I mean... come on.) Of course, instead of continuing to look for the missing pieces, people will inevitably jump to the conclusion that the pieces don't exist. Just as you have jumped to the conclusion that Imbasile is a fundamentalist christian (dirty words in your paradigm)

Intelligent Designed Evolution instead of intelligent design vs evolution

the fossil record shows small evolutionary gains over many years but also shows great leaps (poof) as well. There is no question that evolution for species is correct. There is also no question that created (poof) species is correct. The problem stems from the error of those scientists that refuse to believe what they see...For some reason it has to be either or, this is illogical given the proofs that modern science has before it's face. Can we prove that science has ever been wrong? Can we prove that science has ever been right? The breakdown of the above states that science is "right" for a second in time (because of the small thinking and site of said) and then they are wrong and again theorizing about the understanding of what they were wrong about.
My question is "does it matter"? My answer is "no". Father doesn't care about what species you are or what your face looks like or where you come from...His concerns are in the immortal spiritual realm not the mortal physical.
